Dr. Harvey T. Myers, retired pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 as the result of brain cancer. Harvey was born near Kinston, N.C. on May 22, 1948, but lived much of his youth in Portsmouth, Virginia. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School there in 1966....
