Not sure what to say?

In a time of despair you were there. For five long years of litigation, you fought for me with superior representation. You became my hero, friend and I wished I could have thanked you more then. We all loved you at Choice FF and we are so sad to see that you left. You are a legend, a Friend, very Kind ,and still tender. A man of great wisdom who I will always remember. James Frank Berry

Harvey was a true mensch. He was both my Fraternity Brother at Cal-Berkeley and a classmate at Harvard Law. We'll all miss him.

He kept in touch over the years, unlike almost all others from HLS class of '68. And always with good news, great modesty, and a smile.

I was Harvey’s secretary at Chadbourne & Parke and I followed him to Fried, Frank. He was the kindest boss I’ve ever had. He had such a generous spirit and his quirkiness made me laugh. We’ve kept in touch throughout the years and I looked forward to the family holiday card each season. May you find comfort in knowing how much he was loved by others.

What a wonderful man and mentor. Harvey always made me feel like I was special. He always kept in touch and sent me cards and updates. I have always looked forward to hearing from him; and I will miss him and his loving contact. I will miss his holiday greeting this season, too. May God bless the family with peace and faith.

Harvey was dear to me for the way he immediately opened himself to me as a friend when we were members of a State Bar task force on access to justice. He was so fun to be with -- and so funny. He told me that he collected hotel shower caps to bring back home to his wife. I have never looked at a shower cap since without thinking of Harvey and his upbeat energy. We will all miss him. My condolences to Peggy and the family.
