I never met Harvey Tidwell but I have grown to know him and appreciate him over the past 18 months through numerous conversations with this great man. My Uncle Ross W. Perrin Jr. served with him at Ridgewell during the later months of 1944 of WWII. He spent numerous hours between harrowing B-17 missions over Germany playing bridge with "Harv." Respectful of his contribution to our freedom, I always called him Mr. Tidwell...against his protestations....I just couldn't bring myself to show...

We are all very sad to hear of your loss of this wonderful man!! He was a joy to have in our office and always brought smiles to our days! Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Harvey will be missed dearly! --Dr. Emmie Ko, Amy Jordan and Denise Ball

Jason, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. You and your family are in my prayers. Lisa Rose and family

Harvey was one of the most extraordinary people I have ever known. His brilliance, honor and sense of humor will shine on forever. My heart is broken for his beautiful wife and soulmate, Betty Lou, and for each of his wonderful children. Harvey adored you all and was so proud of each of you.

I only spoke with you for a few brief minutes but the stories that I heard made me laugh and smile. I feel blessed that I had the pleasure of meeting such a sweet and caring man. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family - Colleen McPearson
