Thanks, for your public service and condolences to the family at loss of a very good State Leader.

Harvey was so respected because of his leadership, intelligence, sense of humor and talent vocally, He had the drive to accomplish whatever he desired. I played the piano while he directed the Ebenezer Church choir. Living on the farm for 70 years where he was raised, expresses the compassion he has for his parents and siblings. Thanks for your service to our State.

I served in he Senate for six years with Harvey. The greatest compliment Harvey gave was he named me as his designee to the Select Committee which studied the various SD retirement systems and then created the South Dakota Retirement System SDRS. To have met Harvey, the 26th Governor 26 days before his passing is a great remembrance!
