Read MoreI had Dr. Monroe for History at Texas A&M in 1976 or 1977. He was a fabulous History professor. The fact that I still love his class some 40+ years later should be a clue as to how impressive he was. I just wish I still had my notes to read & study now, when I certainly have more time. I truly enjoyed his class.

I had the honor of serving as Executive Assistant to Chancellor Monroe during his tenure at The University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a delight to work with and made an incredible impact on MU. My deepest sympathy to Jo and all the family.
