So sorry to find this obituary. Dr. Bukhari saved my life with exploratory surgery along with Dr. Paul Zopolsky in 1977. I know he is missed by many.

Life gets busy, and we don't get to honor friends who we admired for decades. Dr. Hassan Bukhari was my friend for over twenty years. I flew from New Orleans to attend his services in Dallas. I still remember and reminisce with my friends about our times together in the USA and Pakistan. I still treasure some of the photos he took during the trips. He was humble, warm and caring. I was deeply saddened to hear of your
loss.... you are definitely in my prayers.

Just found out today about Dr. Bukhari, I am going to miss Dr. Bukhari so much, our family met him in 1980 and considered him a miracle worker, and a friend, we kept in touch with him ever since, and the world lost a truly good, kind, gentle soul and our family is heartbroken. Our condolences to his family, he was a truly great person.
