Hattie B. Hickman-Turk

I didn't know Hattie had passed away. She was a wonderful person. I have so very many fond memories of her as a kind, caring nurse, but more as a good family friend who lived across the street from my grandparents. Rest in peace, dear Hattie. Heartfelt condolences to Robin, Curtis and Chris and their families.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and its Nursing Alumni Society extend deepest sympathy to the family of Hattie B. Hickman-Turk.

I am so sad to hear of Hattie's passing. She was a sincere, kind, and caring person and a truly wonderful boss. If only the world had more people like her..... I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was very sorry to read of Hattie's passing. Although I have not seen her for some tme, just having known her has left an indelible place in my memories. She has left a rich legacy to both the nursing profession and the African American community. She will be greatly missed.
