Haydee Gonzalez

Haydee Gonzalez, 97 years old, of Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in East Hartford, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, accompanied by family members and the skilled nursing facility staff.

Haydee was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico, but was raised in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  Haydee is survived by two siblings, Catalino Gonzalez and Carmen Rodriguez of New Britain; five daughters (Maria Martinez, Luisa Guerra, Maria Guerra, Luz Betancourt, and Ivette Guerra); eight grandchildren (Aracelis, Sotero, Betzaida, Josekarlo, Mark, Karla, Casandra, and Karolina); 16 greatgrandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at Brooklawn Funeral Home at 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, Connecticut on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.

There will be a Mass held at Saint Christopher Church, Brewer Street in East Hartford, Connecticut on October 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a moment of memories at the Saint Christopher Hall.
