Read MoreHayward was a man of action. We worked together on many volunteer projects in Oakland. As a volunteer he often laughed and said he didn´t like meetings and just wanted to get to work! He loved his family, was deeply intellectual, enjoyed life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Sorry to hear of Hayward's passing. He was a classmate at Sacramento Senior High graduating in 1956. Unfortunately those of us who attended our class reunions had no idea where he had gone or how to contact him. It was good to read that he had a happy and successful life.
