Mr. Chappell and family,
Here is another of Mary and Elvis Moore's grandchildren writing to express my sympathy over Mrs. Chappell's death. I am Betty's daughter and can vividly remember running to the door many times to get some kind of goody or coconut cake(MY favorite) that she had made for Mama Moore (Mary). They were always the biggest and the best and Mama Moore always said that she couldn't do a cake like Hazel! I remember clearly how much they both loved you guys and I just know...

I was sorry to hear that Mrs. Chappell had passed away. I am reminded of what wonderful friends you both were to my grandparents, Elvis and Mary Moore. You stood with our family during many sad days, and now we extend our support to you. May God give you comfort in the days ahead. My thoughts are with you.

Graham and Jean, I'm so sorry to hear about Hazel, I came across this on the internet by accident, December 5th was my Jon's 45th birthday, will be praying for you all.

Dear Graham, Jean, and family: Each of you has meant so much to me and my family for so many years. My heart is sad to know that Hazel has passed away, for she will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed the phone conversations and the letters that we shared. She was a wonderfully kind person. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in the coming days.
