Not sure what to say?

Hazel was always a good individual when I visited her and the family. She was my Aunt of my mother's sister when in Alabama or where she passed away.

Harold Newman nephew. I wish to send my deepest regrets for my Aunt. Who had just left this world for a better relm. God Bless you and her immediate family.

She was my aunt and a good woman and always had a smile

Our family met Hazel when my son Josh & I tutored underprivileged children at Asbury; she & Art had volunteered for many years. We were immediately drawn to them & decided to "adopt" them. Hugs & kisses were always given whenever we saw each other; they were a couple who could easily touch your heart. They were both there for us when Josh was killed by a drunk driver; their support & prayers will never be forgotten.
When Hazel became too ill to attend church, we would take something over...

I remember grandmother getting your V mails and her telling me of your marriage and showing pictures of your honeymoon. I was 10. You certainly were a living legacy of "THE GREATEST GENERATION" Thank you for being a loving and wonderful Aunt. We will meet again! I love You. Your Nephew

Remembering all of our good years growing up as sisters in Athens, Alabama. Shall miss you..love you,
