Celebrating Birthdays!

She was an extremely wonderful woman. I had the distinct pleasure of calling her Meemaw for 10 years. She was a blessing to all who came in contact with her. My condolences and prayers go out to the entire family. I know the first words she may hear upon entering heaven will be "Well Done my Child, Well Done!"

Liz was a dynamic believer with a servant's heart and a love for Christ and His church. Robin and I loved her dearly. It was a great honor to participate in her homegoing service. Our prayers are with Vern, Lynn, Gary and the entire family...we anticipate a great reunion with her one day in Glory!

Our condolences to the family, God bless you all, I know you will miss her, she was a blessing to all that knew her.

Most of my favorite memories of my young teenage years include Liz. I will be eternally grateful for the seeds of faith that were sown in my life by Liz (and the family. Rock-a-thons, Ridgecrest, Camp Oleno...would have never happened without Liz and the other Oceanway faithful. I will always remember her unconditional love, infectious laughter and most of all her unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ. Great is her reward! My prayers for Verne, family and friends. I know she will be greatly...

On behalf of the Corey Family, I'm sending prayers of strength and courage as you deal with your great loss. We have many fond memories of our "visits" to Oceanway and the many church members who touched our lives, especially Liz. She always made us Episcopalian grandchildren of Mary Lewis feel as welcome as the Baptist ones!! Much love and hugs to all.

I can remember the very first time I meet Liz was at Heart Haven Baptist Church and she greeted me with a smile and when ever I would see her she had that same smile on her face. She loved her Lord and savior and enjoyed doing his work. She will be missed, but I know that she in in heaven having a great time waiting for us all to join her one day. we will miss her sweat smile.

You touched the hearts of many generations. You were my youth leader, my mentor, my spiritual leader and you were my friend. You loved to share the gospel and you loved unconditionally. You made such an impact on so many lives, including mine. You always made me feel special. Thank you and I love you, from the bottom of my heart.

Liz, you wll be missed. The memories I treasure are you and Verne's friendship. I will all remember how the both of you ministered for the Lord with music and humor. I know heaven is rejoicing. Praise the Lord.
