It was my pleasure to spend the few times I got to with Hazel when Ruth and I would visit her from across the street.
She was so sweet and thoughtful. It did my heart so good to see her and Ruth take each others hands, holding tightly, truly glad for their time together.
I'd stand back and observe them thinking how they had once been young sisters. So many sweet memories between them.
