HUMPHREY, Hazel – Of Grand Blanc, age 91, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Regency of Grand Blanc. Hazel was a resident of Grand Blanc, Michigan at the time of per passing.



 



Per Hazel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.



 



Hazel was born in Flint on July 18, 1924. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1942. She worked at 3 General Motors plants, for the WBBC radio station, for the McGrath Junior High library, and as office manager for the Kovall Business Forms Company. She retired after working 33 years.



 



Hazel and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. They were active members of a couple Lutheran Churches. Hazel helped to manage a little league softball team.



On May 4, 1944 she married Raymond Humphrey.



 



Hazel is survived by her son, Mark Humphrey;



 



special niece, Sue Brady and many other nieces and nephews.



 



She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in March, 2011, her parents Lauri and Inpie Nieminen, sister Olga Brady, and brother John Nieminen.
