Not sure what to say?

Hazel was my Girl Scout leader and from the first day we became best friends and stayed in touch until the end. To say I loved Hazel is such an understatement. I think of her all the time and always will. I am a better person for having known her.

It has taken me awhile to write as I was so upset.I loved Hazel so much. She was an important person in my life starting when she was my girl scout leader and continuing on into adulthood and my approaching old age. As long as I live she will always be apart of me and in my memory. My condolences to all he children especially Jay whom I knew the best. I would love to meet her grandchildren or any members of her family. If you are ever in Boston or Cambridge please call and see if we can meet...

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the passing of your Mother. My father, Floyd Parks, was a first cousin to Winfield.

Dear Laura and Brian, Rachel and Molly
Much love and prayers for God's tender comfort for you all at this time. I am glad to say that I met Hazel - though only a couple of times, but her love was so well represented by your family - great affection, humor and love, and a Godly example for everyone around her. May God richly fill your minds with all of those wonderful times you had together. In Christ's Love, Patricia Rhoades

My grandma Hazel was one of the strongest Christian women I've ever had the joy of knowing. Even as I am mourning my family's earthly loss, I rejoice in the knowledge of her heavenly gain. She is and was, truly and eternally, called by God. I can only hope and pray that I will be even a fraction of the woman she was.

Toni, Jay and Laura:
Your Mother was truly the most wonderful gift. We had a lot of great laughs together. She is now at peace and in the best care. She will truly be missed. Marie

Toni, Laura, and Jay. I am very honored to have been brought into Hazels life. I got a great opportunity to get to know her. I am grateful for getting to meet all of you. She was a truly special lady, who will forever stay in my heart. My prayers are with all of you, and your families.

Such a beautiful woman inside and out. I am honored to have so many fond memories, her laugh, her cute wit and her love for the Lord. Through Hazel I was able to know her beloved family and for that I am also very gratiful. May you all find comfort in her love for each of you. Cherish her love in your hearts to help you through this difficult time. She will be missed. Thank you Lord for sharing such a wonderful treasure.

Love,

Hazel, an angel on Earth, and now an angel in Heaven. Someday we will harmonize together again.
