KEMP, (Zubke) Hazel B. - Of Grand Blanc, age 96, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Hyde Park Assisted Living in Flushing. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Robert D. Taylor officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Hazel was born in Goodrich, Michigan on September 27, 1913, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Zubke and was a resident of Grand Blanc all of her life. Mrs. Kemp was employed for 21 years at AC Spark Plug Division. Surviving are four children, W. Richard Wilcox and wife Ramona, Sandra and husband Lou Anderson, Ronnie C. Wilcox and wife Rosemary and Karon Saumier; four grandchildren, Wayne and wife Dorothy Wilcox, Whitney and husband, Patrick Jensen, Lexy Anderson and Megan Latimer; five great-grandchildren, Alexander and Meredith Wilcox, Austa and Patrick James Jensen and Elizabeth (Libby) Latimer. She was preceded in death by husband, Ernest, two daughters, Betty Lou Wilcox and Bonnie Stone, two brothers, Ralph and Bill, two sisters, Marion and Anna Mae, grandson, David Wilcox and great-grandson, Thomas Wilcox.
