Not sure what to say?

Aunty Hazel was a mother to me. She "adopted" me in 1984 during my freshman year in college when her daughter CC and I began rooming together. I am eternally grateful for having had her in my life as a much needed mother figure. Not only AH and CC, but their extended family, including Granny and Granny Maude, became my adopted family. Many were the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I spent with them, not only during college years but also during the many years I spent in various parts of...

Hazel and I met in 1950 as students at Bennett College. Our friendship grew and we became roommates during our senior year. Throughout our life, we kept in touch through phone calls where we would love to reminisce about old times and laugh in new times. I will miss these frequent calls with my friend Hazel. Forever Bennet Bells. Condolences to her family. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

My condolences to the family of a beautiful person, my Bennett sister. May she rest in heavenly peace.

Single Memorial Tree

So sorry to learn of Mrs. Moore's passing. She was a wonderful teacher in my years at GWHS. Sending prayers of comfort to her family.

Mrs. Moore was a kind woman and an excellent role model. Even though I knew her from GW, I got to know her better because of her love for sewing. Prayers for Cecilia, Margaret and the rest of the family.

Dear family, I have wonderful memories of Hazel from growing up. She was a wonderful friend to my Nana, Mamie Gould. She was truly a marvelous individual and I am blessed to have known her. May you all find comfort knowing that she is now with family and friends and is at peace. Much love to the family and I am keeping everyone in prayer. Michele

I have thought about Hazel so often lately . She was a joy in my life

I feel such a profound sense of loss with Ms. Moore's passing. She was so much more than a teacher to me-she was a true mentor, a guiding light, and a constant source of encouragement. During one of the most critical times in my life, when I was struggling to find my way, Ms. Moore saw something in me that I couldn´t yet see in myself. Her wisdom wasn´t just in the lessons she taught but in the way she lived her life, always offering a listening ear, a kind word, or just the right advice...
