Read MoreHazel was my Mom's best friend for many years. I have a picture of them back in high school when they were known as the Banjo Twins. They tool many trips together before they were both married and I remember my Mom and her would call each other on Sunday evenings. I lost touch with her & Ray over the past 5/6 years. We have very fond memoriies of Hazel. Over 56 years ago we spent New Years Eve with Beverly and Clarence and Hazel and Ray. We were just dating at the time. It was an awkward evening as I didn't know anyone, but Hazel took me under her wing and made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the evening when we got to my house, Shell popped the question.
We know your hearts are full of many wonderful memories - this was one of ours.
