Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to hear of great mum-mum's passing. I will never forget the family reunions at her house and how I loved running around the yard and swinging on the swing set and hammock as a little girl.

I remember visiting her home when I was older and how impressed I was with her. She was feisty and made me laugh about her stories of her life and life with great pop-pop.

My love to everyone.

((hugs))

Dear Ann, Jim, Hank, and Jeff -- Aunt Hazel was Gors' immediate elder sister and we were all raised on childhood stories of antics with her and Uncle George. We will miss her very much, but I hope you can take comfort from the long, full life she led. With much love, Pam

I met Aunt Hazel when I went with my friend Carolyn to Pennsylvania. We had some yummy vegetable soup and looked at photo albums. We had a nice afternoon, and I had a wonderful time meeting all the family. My condolences to everyone.

I will always remember how welcome these two wonderful people made me feel even before I became part of the extended family. The holiday celebrations in the Chicken Coop will always bring back memories of the smiles and good cheer which Harvey and especially Hazel brought into the world. The loss is deep but their memories and the influence they had while alive run far deeper.

"the chicken coop" was always HOME.

Our Deepest Sympathy goes out to all the Rhoads and Hadley families.
And God Bless you Hazel, our oldest living Bechtel Descendant at 99 years old.

Sincerely, The Bechtel Families of North America

Alright I will try this again!! I entered one earlier and my dad's showed up but not mine. Ann, Jeff, Jim, and Henry and all the grandchildren, I am so sorry about your loss. Aunt Hazel was such a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. I have more memories of her than I can even count!! My most memorable one though is when I went out east with my friend and she and I spent hours with Aunt Hazel who showed us all kinds of old pictures and told stories about the past. Everything I know...

Dear Jeff, Jim, Ann and Henry and your families,
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Hazel. She is finally at peace where she wanted to be for the past year. She will be missed by all of our family.
Love,
Dale, Gene, Chris and Amy and Family

Dear Ann, Jeff, Jim, and Henry, please accept my condolences on the death of your Mom, my Sister. Hazel was a special person in my life. I am happy that Carolyn and I were able to visit with her in June at the Topton Lutheran Home. Herb and I spent several summers with Hazel and Harvey when we were kids. They always made sure we had plenty to eat, especially ice cream. Now there are only three of us children left. We will all meet again some day.
