Not sure what to say?

Hazel Rumney taught our oldest son, Damien, in second grade at Mohawk School in Scotia, NY, 1980-1981. She was always encouraging our son, and left a positive lasting impact. When Damien earned his Eagle Scout Award his senior year at Scotia Glenville HS, he remembered Mrs. Rumney and invited her to the ceremony. He still has the beautiful pen she gave him.

We well remember Hazel. She was our oldest son's second grade teacher at Mohawk School in Scotia. He thought so much of her that he invited her to his Eagle Scout Ceremony. She gave him a beautiful Papermate pen that he has to this day.

I had Mrs. Rumney as my second grade teacher. She is one of the teachers I always remember fondly (38 years later). My sincerest condolences to the family.

Beth, Barbara, and Jim ........ My sincerest condolences to you and your families at the passing of your Mom. Fondest of memories with you all at Ridgewood Swim Club. May you all keep the good memories with your Mom in your minds and in your hearts. Sincerely ....

We know Hazel will be part of our quilt of memories at church. She's at peace. Our condolences to her Jim and family

We are so sorry for you loss. We always remember her as being very sweet and caring.
