Hazel Rewa Sly

I have only just come across this message, and realised that Hazel died shortly after I last stayed with Lloyd and Hazel on my visit to New Zealand around that time. I have fond memories of many visits in my student days, surrounded by music, wonderful food and laughter, and Lloyd´s wonderful piano playing. Hazel was a warm, welcoming person, and I am sorry to be finding this out only now, in 2025. Much love to Christine and David, and to Warren whom I also knew well.

SLY, Hazel Rewa. On 6 April, passed away peacefully. Much loved sister- in-law of Neville and the late June Sly, Jack and Doreen Adams. Much loved aunty of the late Gaynor and aunty to Sandra, Paula, Kim and families. Will be so sadly missed.
