Hazel Patricia Smith

In remembering Hazel as it approaches a year since her passing, I remember well the day I came to her house and found her in the back bard scooping up doggie do-do. She had been there for about a half hour or so before I arrived Of course I offered my assistance. We must have scooped for about 30 minutes or so laughing and talking about how could any dog leave this much of a mess. I got to thinking and wandered out into her yard and found it to be everywhere.. Something did not seem quite...

I just this minute learned by happenstance of Hazel's passing...I worked for Hazel for over 2 years. We shared a lot of laughs and I enjoyed learning about her family and adventures. Although I had been out of her life for the last year or so; I will always cherish the time we spent and remember her fondly. Rest in peace sweet Hazel - your loving friend, Charlene Hammond

So sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. We will be in North Carolina for our great niece's graduation but know that we will be thinking of you. Hugs!❤
