Hazel Marilyn Stringari

Hazel Marilyn Stringari passed away peacefully on December 9, 2023, at 92 years old. Born in Watsonville, CA, she and her husband Leo built a life in Santa Clara, raising 11 children. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Hazel and Leo shared a love story that began with their marriage in 1949. In their retirement years, she and Leo enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.Hazel's laughter and joy in loving life reflected her vibrant and loving spirit. She enjoyed Bowling, Bunko, Bingo, going to Disneyland, dancing, and music. She was a devout Catholic known for her unwavering faith, patience, and kindness, and she touched the lives of all who knew her. Hazel is survived by her children Paula Clawson (Howard), David (Cathy), Daniel (Cindi), Roxanne Vane (John Kyffin), Dennis (Mary), Donald (Judy), Teresa Turner (Tom), Darren, Robert (Jessica) and Christopher (Terri). 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive her.She is predeceased by her husband Leo, daughter Gerianne, and son-in-law Terry Vane.Family and friends are invited to a Rosary on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 7 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA.
