Mrs. Hazel Lee Walker, 81, born March 22, 1934; our beloved mother went to be with her Lord and Savior on November29, 2015 following a period of declining health. She was a resident of Conover Nursing and Rehab where she loved all the staff who gave her exceptional care every day for the past two years. She leaves behind five children, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening , reading, but most of all her family. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Mrs. Walker will be held 2:00PM Tuesday December 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC 28645. Miss walker I miss you each and every day. What I wouldn't give to sit with you today.

Miss my grandmother dearly as Halloween is aproching for every year for many years she had a party for her grandchildren as she made every occasion special for her family words can't explain how much I miss her through Christ who strengths me her legacy will live on through her grandkids I love you mammaw RIP My dear I'll see you again in heaven
