Hazel, you are such an amazing woman! It was always such a pleasure to see and talk with you, I will miss those times.
You leave a legacy of some very special people, your sons, and their children, and even a special little one, Cyrus.

Hazel was my last Aunt to pass away ,I loved her dearely .Her enthusiastic and charming nature was great . She spent time with me last when she came to Wi. for her 65th class reunion . we visited relatives and shares memories and a family reunion. i havent gotten to know my cousins her sons due to distance but she kept us up to date with her yearely christmas letter . My depest sympathy on her passing . I picture the joy she must have in eternity . she was joy filled here Love cousin...

Our family was so blessed to have been able to know Hazel and be touched by her wonderful spirit and kindness. Hazel is a role model in the way she lived her life and loved her friends and family. We are all fortunate to have the special memories of Hazel to bond our families even stronger. Our love and condolences go out to the Wells family.

I will miss Hazel always. About 10 years ago when I was the Oregon-Idaho Conference United Methodist Women's president, I lived in Boise, Idaho, and Hazel was my "local arrangements person" here in Portland. She would arrange for housing for the officers, select restaurants for us to have our dinners in, and was always available to pick us up at the airport when we arrived for meetings.
