Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Whitfield was a blessing to so many of us from West Pensacola. She employed us at an early age and gave us work ethics that stayed thoughout the years. She hired me at 14 year of age and I worked there for 4 years on through high school. Many great memories and friends.

Sis. Hazel and Bro Whit ( aka Superman ) are very special and precious to me. I've had several surgeries and have been out of contact, but she is never far from my thoughts. Her sister and brother-in-law Dot and Jay Reddick are rejoicing with them now as we miss them.I am sorry that I could not be there and wish to send my best wishes to the family. I know that there was a wonderful homecoming and what a singing when she entered those gates.

With love and respect

Guy,
Your dad and mom were always such a blessing each time I was able to spend time with them. I know they are rejoicing being together again in the presence of our Lord. May God bless and sustain you and your family always.

MIss Hazel was the strength behind Pleezing Stores for so many years. JG was a personal friend of my family who had a Cafe next to the FL Boys in Brownsville. They married and worked for Christ in all they did, being good examples of Christians. May their memories be eternal and may God be with the Whitfield family at this time.

I will miss Hazel very much. She was my
daring neighbor and was like a grandma
to me.I know Tubby will miss her too.His routine of Hazel calling him for dinner every day has been broken.
Hazel asked me recently if I had changed my address because I have been working alot.I can say to her now it wasnt me who changed my address. It was you Hazel. And what an addrees you choose. We thank god for all the precious memories we made with her.

I am sorry for your loss. As an administrator for the Pensacola Musicians websites and annual memorial concerts, I want you to know that Mrs Whitfield's name will be mentioned in memoriam at the next event. God Bless you.

My parents Mary and Al Brewer sister Sammie we have known the whitfields for many years from church of the open Bible .

Mrs. Whitfield prayed with my daddy to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Church of the Open Bible many years ago. I have never forgotten her. She was a precious lady.

May God bless you and your families in this time of sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
