Hazel Bell Wigington

Easley

Mrs. Hazel Louise Bell Wigington, 92, wife of the late George Q. Wigington, Jr., passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 at her home.

Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late James Henry and Rosa Lee Bargoil Bell, Mrs. Wigington was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Ellis Wigington (Jewel La Verle), and Randy Wood (Deborah), all of Easley; a brother, Glenn Bell (Ruth) of Pelzer; three grandchildren, Natalie Wigington Swillen (Bradley M.), Elizabeth Bunton Bowen (Capt. Kenneth J. Bowen, II, USN), and Ashley Wood; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wigington was predeceased by a daughter, Janet Wigington Bunton; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, where the body will be placed at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
