Not sure what to say?

Heather always entered a room with a smile and a positive message. Her love for educating children and giving back to the community was reflected daily in her commitment to our Genesee Families and our Genesee Family! She never allowed her illness to effect this commitment. Her efforts were not unnoticed. She was loved by all her met her. You knew she had your back and your students best interest as well. There are so many memories. The joy on her face when she spoke of Chloe, Nate and her...

Thank you for showing me the way of the trombone. I thought about you often because of how much I enjoyed my time with you. You were a huge comfort and influence in my childhood.

I was very fortunate to have known and worked with Heather at Lyons Elementary School. She was a very dedicated educator and a great leader of instilling music with the students under her direction. Our music program at our school developed into a sounding board of great sounding music. She had a way to bring out the best in a student’s ability with practice and performance. She is with a band and choir of angels. Very sorry to loose a beautiful person inside and out.

Heather was a beautiful person inside and out. Her positivity lives on with all of us that were blessed to know her, here at APW elementary. Our hearts go out to all of her family and friends. She will be missed.

Heather was Jon Bowen’s daughter. He was the Band Director. During this time, I found Heather to be a personable young lady, with strong work ethics and goals, not only for the band, but on a...

The smile in her eyes, came from her soul and said everything there is too say about the incredibly beautiful human she was! She loved with all of her and made us all better humans by knowing her!

Just want all of you to know you are in our thoughts. I have fond memories of Heather from Baker. O sorry for your loss.

I didn’t really know Heather personally. She went to Baker HS in Baldwinsville with 2 of my kids, and was in the B’ville Marching Band with them too. That was 5 years that they came together at the end of summer until early fall for one dedicated purpose - to work as hard as they could at making their band excel. I saw Heather as a very bright and energetic girl, personable, and filled with the spirit of accomplishing things. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her I passing in the...
