MacKenzie, Heather Leigh Age 37. Passed away peacefully on 11/28/06. Preceded in death by daughter, Sarah; uncle, John. Survived by daughter, Kristen Root; parents, Tim and Kathleen Hannan; sister, Brooke (Dave) Hondel; niece, Jessica; nephew, Eric; grandmother, Uva Gardner; good friend, Demitrus; other family and friends. Memorial Service 11 AM on Sat., 12/2 at Mayflower United Church of Christ, 106 E. Diamond Lake Rd., Mpls. Memorials preferred to Girls Camp St. Croix through the Wilder Foundation.

This message is for Kristen, Losing someone is one of the hardest things we face in life and losing someone as close to is mother is even harder. I am truely sorry to have found out that Heather has passed on. We met shortly after I'd moved to Minneapolis from North Dakota in 1985, through my in-laws. I have always treasured how friendly and nice she was to me then, and will never forget her beautiful smile. The last time that I saw Heather, was right before I moved back to North Dakota in 1999.
