Heather Smith

I will never forget you; I never have.

I will miss Heather. She was such an advocate for my wards and parents in conflict.

What a tremendous woman she was to everyone. I had the pleasure to meet and work with her many years ago. Deepest sympathy to her sisters , their children and every child she helped.

I will miss Heather's quick wit and mischievous smile! Even while dealing with difficult work Heather was always a positive and inspiring person to be around.

It's hard to believe I am writing this to you. You were such a great person. You had so much passion for your career in advocacy for victims. I can remember my last face to face conversation with you at METCAC in detail; in October. You called me about a victim that you had concerns about them going home. I always knew when you called, it was something I really needed to give my attention to. I look back on all of our emails and see how you took each case seriously, making sure we as law...

I never met Heather but I send my deepest condolences.

My memory of Heather is of a strong, powerful, woman. I am blessed to have been able to call her a friend in our younger years. Peace!
