Heber Macwilliams III

Heber was a valued member of the WRHS Genealogical Committee and supporter of the Western Reserve Historical Society. Heber was passionate about family history, teaching genealogy classes and discovering new resources. Sending condolences to Diana and the entire family.

Until I met Heber, I didn't know that genealogical records of Eastern European Jewish families existed. He had never researched a Jewish family before, but rose to the challenge enthusiastically. On our second date, he gave me copies of the manifests for the ships that carried my father and his family from Bordeaux to New York, via Buenos Aires.
