Not sure what to say?

Hector and my father Ernie Daruka of Fairfield CT, both Marine Vets were close. Never forget a visit by all three brothers,Hector, Ronnie and Billy one summer. God bless Hector and his family. from the Daruka family.

I didn't know Mr. Cafferata but felt I did as his photo hung in Debbie's and my apt in Rancho Cordova CA in the early 1980s. I lost track of Debbie when she moved. I tried finding her many times online, and, remembering her father's name, I searched for him again tonight and found his obituary. I was so sorry to learn of his death, but I'm also grateful if this reconnects me with Debbie. She could contact me at [email protected]. God bless your family.

Dear Aunt Doris and the Family, Ray and I send Our Condolences to You!! I know Uncle Hector will surely be missed!! Sorry we couldn't be there at the funeral! Pray you have safe travels!!! Love, Ray and Faye

My condolences to your family. I did not know Mr. Cafferata but I learned about him from my father and attended his day on Sept 12, 1992 in Montville. He was a humble man by all accounts as are most true heroes. I am trying to arrange for all flags to be lowered in his honor in NJ as a small token of my appreciation. God Bless.

Sincerely
Michael Rewick
