Hector Mario Nava Jr. was born on June 18, 1976 in Laredo, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 31, 2021.


Hector is survived by his wife, Charissa, his children: Alexis (Stephen), Hector III, Destiny, Christian and Selah; granddaughter, Ivelisse, his parents Hector Mario Nava Sr. and Maria Magdalena Gonzales, his siblings: Nancy Villa (Pedro), Wendy Ortiz (Carlos), Betsy Nava-Flores (Roy) and Maggie Vidales (Albert) and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. 


During his lifetime, Hector was a highly skilled fire and safety operator in the oil industry, who took much pride in his work. Before entering this industry Hector was a master mechanic since a very young age. He leaves a legacy of being the joy and life of the party and his laughter would fill the room. His hugs will be greatly missed by many! Hector made friends everywhere he went. He could win you over with his famous bar-b-que and secret spices! 


Hector was quick to forgive, slow to anger, loyal and fiercely protective of those he loved. Our beloved only son, little brother, father, grandfather, husband, friend, leaves a great void which we pray that Our Lord will fill with His mercy and grace.

He was a very kind loving spirit i would always come over to visit hem each weekend and we watched movies and threw the football,he will always hold a place in my heart,my hope is to see hem again and give hem the biggest hug,never will be forgoten

Hector my old friend. When I heard the news, my heart began to ache as memories of you started to flood my mind. When I first met you thru your cousin and how our friendship grew to be able to stand on its own. When my car would give me trouble you'd have me drop by the old shop to give it a look. Your sense of humor is what I'll remember the most and when our paths crossed again I saw how much your children and devotion to Christ meant to you. I'll miss you, buddy but I'll keep your memory...

Hector, our beloved cousin, you will be forever missed! There are no words to express the grief that many of us are feeling at this time of loss.
