Heflin Thomas

My dad Van Thomas just told me about the Uncle i never met. It was nice to learn a little about him through the obituary!

Heflin touched so many lives in the very best way. I'm grateful got a chance to know him as both a colleague and a friend.To be honest, He was like a brother to me. He was truly a class act. Will certainly miss him.

I remember the Thomas Family where on the park (Lincoln Park) every family knew each other. There was the Browns, Thomases, Turners, Bowies, Gays, Beards, Edwards and McCord's. Each family had some one that was the same age. In the Thomas family I was the same age as Patrica and my brother Grover was the same age as Heflin. We all grew up together and all of us embraced the life on Lincoln Park. We fought and played and existed in loving harmony. Helfin was older and he always was the mature...

That was my Uncle he was one of a can my Uncle all ways had a smile on his face very happy man loving man to his family he lost his brother January of this year which was my Dad I love them both very much they are not suffering no more pain rest in peace

As my neighbor for many years, gone to soon but never forgotten.

Remember Heflin from work. Had a lot of fun with him. Good man will be missed
