My heart goes out to Heidi's family. She was truly an amazing woman and a delightful human being. I've never forgotten that she believed in me long before I believed in myself.

Heidi was such a joy to work with. We became acuainted during her service onthe Central Eastside Urban Renewal Advisory Committee. She had such insight on how to help make jobs work in the Central Eastside. My thought are with her family.

Heidi touched my life deeply years ago while working with her. She was incredibly thoughtful, caring and generous, helping others and making a different in the life of everyone she touched. I will truly miss her.

I was so honored to have you come into my life in 1989. I am so proud of all your accomplishments and I cry that you had to leave us, so young, but I also know that you are winging your way through heaven, the sweetest angel.

I met Heidi in the rooms of AA over 17 years ago. She always had such spunk and passion. The day she got the call of her diagnosis I was sitting next to her at the International Women's Conference. I knew she was afraid but I also knew she was a fighter and would take this next challenge on with the help of God, family, and friends. I will miss seeing her in meetings but I know that she is free and in a place where only love and laughter exists.

Heidi and I went to Sumner grade school together. She was always a compelling figure to me and though we lost touch at quite a young age, she still comes to mind, decades later. I remember her as a super smart kid with a keen sense of justice. She was kind to everyone. I wish I'd known her as an adult. To all those who called her a friend later in her life - she was that great of a person even as a little kid. One of the good ones. Peace and love to her family and friends.

I met Heidi when we were very young kids, her aunt Betty lived up the street from me on Beech street. We were good friends for a long time;had a lot of fun together. as life happens and we grew up we somehow lost touch with each other.I wish I could have known her later in life as she was a great person & would have still been a good friend.
