Heinz Jurgen Lenz M.D. Ph.D.

We were saddened to learn of Jurgen´s passing as he was a friend to many in the GI community and elsewhere. We also knew him, Susan and children from LJ Presbyterian Church. He was a smart person with a free-spirit and will be long remembered. Our best wishes to Susan and the family, as we regretted missing the Memorial Service while being out of town.

I met Dr. Lenz when he visited Kempten in Germany last year and have fond memories of his visit. I´m very sorry for your loss! RIP

Very sorry for your family´s loss. I was a UCSD GI Research fellow in the 90´s and remember his incredible energy, kindness and sense of humor. He will be remembered by many.
