Graveside service for Heinz Peter Wunsch, 69, of Decatur will be Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Jim Schrader officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.

Mr. Wunsch, who died Monday, May 2, 2011, at his residence, was born March 3, 1942, in Braunschweig, Germany, to Heinz Gustav Ernst Wunsch and Emma Kroll Wunsch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sue Schrader Wunsch; and grandson, Nik Wunsch.

He is survived by two sons, Chris Wunsch and Fritz Wunsch; one daughter, Tanja Beck; one sister, Christiane Boeswirth; and six grandchildren, Tilo Wunsch, Anna Beck, Alex Beck, Erik Beck, Ryan Beck and Emma Beck.
