Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Bechdel was a wonderful and patient teacher. She was one of my teachers that had a big impact on my life. I think of her often.

I will always remember Helen as an inspiring friend, joyful spirit, and fellow writer. She made my life all the richer.

An extraordinary and patient teacher. She was one of my teachers I truly admired and I will miss. My condolences to the entire family.

Other words to describe her (she would have recommended that I use these in my paper)- unique, notable, noticeable, outstanding, remarkable; impressive, smashing, striking; animating, energizing, enlightening, enlivening; phenomenal, rare, sensational, spectacular; singular, uncommon!

Our thoughts are with you and your families in the passing of your mom. May you find peace in the many thoughtful memories shared.
All of us down here in New Jersey are deeply saddened for your loss and wish we could be there.

I am saddened to hear that Helen has passed. She infuenced my life in my early years in Beech Creek. She always had time to talk with me and I performed with her at Millbrook. She loved life and taught passionatey. She was the mother of my friend, and the mother of the friend of my brother. She touched my heart and my prayers are with her children.

I wish I had appreciated her teaching and dedication when I was a child. My brother, Jim, who was the Assistant Principal, told me once she was one of the finest teachers we had at BHS. She was.
My condolences.
