Not sure what to say?

Who can ever forget such a lovely woman? Me! That´s who! I´m thinking of her as her birthday approaches, ever since she found out my birthday was one day later, she never forgot a greeting! Miss and think of her often!

I´m a neighbor of Helen´s, I would like to extend my condolences to her family and those she called her friends. Helen was a character, when ever I would speak with her on the phone she would ask " so what have you heard?" I would just laugh and tell her I hadn´t "heard a thing"! Knowing full well she knew everything going on! Not much got by her, she informed me when my grand daughter was seen with a boy on her porch steps. Who was ill or in the hospital, and when someone had passed. I´m...

Helen was my aunt her and Pete or wonderful people have so many good memories growing up

It was so nice to run into Betsy and her mom Helen uptown at the old Perrysburg post office on Second Street! Like us they had fond memories of the way it was in the 1960’s! This was also the home of Perrysburg Messenger Journal too for many years! Remembering the old embracing the new!!

Dear Family, Helen could light up a room & with her Pete, they were a charming couple with great stories. Peggy was a special friend to her & so many years together. Helen loved clothes & I would see her on many occasions shopping at Talbot´s. Thinking of you all at this time & deepest regrets.

We are so sorry to hear about Helen´s passing. She was always such a cheerful and sweet person. May her memory be eternal. Love and blessings to the whole family, Donna (Bernard Strow Ruhl) Reichard Natalie (Strow) Anagnos Gregory Strow

Helen welcomed us into the Glens Falls/Queensbury area in her perfect for Helen position as official greeter for Welcome Wagon. Eventually, she and Pete were our across the street neighbors on Ridge St. They were like surrogate grandparents for our two sons. We missed them when they moved back to Perrysburg! About ten years ago, we were able to stop in Perrysburg on our way home from a visit with my family in Tennessee. We spent the night with Helen, reminiscing and laughing over...
