Mrs. Bone was my 6th grade teacher at Shear Elementary School in Redford Township, Michigan. Oddly, she was also my High School English teacher in (I think) 12th grade. She had a fondness for butterfly pins, which she wore daily as I recall. Many were given as gifts from her students, myself included. My first grade teacher and fifth grade teacher at Shear Elementary School in South Redford Township (south of then-Schoolcraft Road, between Beech Daly and Inkster Roads) in the late '50's and early '60's was an amazing woman named Mrs. Bone.
