I always loved seeing Aunt Helen. She would greet you with a pinch on the cheeks while biting her tongue. I admired her since of fashion and thought her red shoes were the best thing ever. Aunt Helen will be missed.

Helen was one of a kind. Always had a smile and loved jewelry. I know she was known for her jewelry making. At age 90, she came to a paper bead class I taught at Melissa Public Library. Someone asked Helen if she wanted to go upstairs on the elevator and she said no, why? She climbed all those stairs and wasn't even out of breath. She made a red and black paper bead bracelet for the ballgames she enjoyed so much. Helen insisted That I come to her house and see all her beads and I did....
