Helen BRUMFIELD

She was my teacher many, many years ago. She was a wonderful woman and teacher, she will be missed.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Her smile was contagious. Loving thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I had hoped to attend her memorial but I am in quarantine.

One of my favorite teachers at Reid School. She was a gracious lady. Many good memories.

Miss Brumfield, as I knew her, was my first grade teacher at Reid School in 1960-61. She was such a wonderful teacher, so kind and so compassionate. She was also very classy I remember thinking. There was just something about her that stood out—a certain style and manner. Years later when I was teaching myself at Clark State, I ran into her at a college function, and we agreed to have lunch. To this day Miss Brumfield one of my favorite teachers ever. She loved all of her student's and remembered them all through her life. She was good friend's with my dad and I know he will be sad he lost another friend. RIP Helen til we meet again!

Best sixth grade teacher ever, always so kind and cared so much about us as kids. Prayers for the family.
