Age 86 of Minerva
Helen Bush, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in her home. She was born March 26, 1922 in Canton to Charles and Alma (Ulmschneider) Hart. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1940 and the Canton Actual Business College. She was a secretary for American Electric Switch in Minerva and Good Roads Machinery and retired from B&H Machine where she worked as a bookkeeper and in many other capacities. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 23 years, member of the U&I Sunday School Class and the Senior Adult Ministry Group. She is a member of the Minerva Entre Nous Club, Minerva Historical Society, YMCA, Minerva Education Foundation, and a former member of the Alliance Country Club. She is survived by daughter, Debbie (Richard) Burton of Minerva; son, Tim (Trish) Bush of Malvern; brothers, Robert (Jane Mae) Hart of Raleigh, NC and Paul (Maryann) Hart of Malvern; four grandchildren, Nicole (Brady) Koble of Malvern, Nathan (Carrie) Bush of Malvern, Shannon (Josh) Matthew of Robertsville, Jeremy Burton of Alliance; five great-grandchildren, Piper and Rowan Koble, Alona and Maraina Matthew Ethan Bush; sister-in-law. Betty White; brother-in-law. Bill (Betty) Bush; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Minerva First Christian Church with Mr. Ralph Norman officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-8 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva First Christian Church or Minerva Area Christian School.
