Oh Helen, I have thought of you often, but especially now as our birthday approaches. Thank you for sharing your wit, your laugh, and the sweet story of how you and Dan, your golden man, met. You used to tell me that you weren't beautiful, you were attractive. What you were was a special lady whose memory still makes me smile. We were born 60 years apart on the same day and I feel we were kindred spirits. I will raise a glass to you on our day and celebrate the fact that you are celebrating...

Helen would love to be remembered as an English teacher, bridge teacher, lover of theater and travel, and the proud wife of over 60 years to Daniel. She had a full life until her later years. I'm sure some of her students will remember her quick wit and her sense of style.
