Helen G. Carter

There are three nurses who really stand out in my memory: my Aunt Ann, Sue and Helen. I knew Helen as my favorite nurse and she most likely knew me as her favorite negotiator. The mom of one of my favorite classmates (Deanna!), she will be sorely missed. Blessings to Deanna and the whole Carter family. Wishing you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Praying for the repose of Helen's soul and her eternal unity with Bob and our Lord.

I first met Helen through the Cancer Society when there was still an office in Bucyrus and Janet Shuck was the director. Helen was always so upbeat and just what our patients needed to have in their day. Then later we were involved with bake sales for the Crawford County Humane Society and had such fun at the Courthouse together picking out our purchases, chatting and solving the problems of the world. She was a truly wonderful and giving person. Her many hours of selfless volunteering...

We are so very sorry to hear about Helen. We will fondly remember her and Bob at Myrtle Beach where they, along with our parents, used to spend the month of October together enjoying the beach, friendship and mischief. We are so happy that we were able to see them two years ago and will cherish that final visit with them. Our thoughts go out to your entire family.
