Helen A. Cesare, 96, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Sunday, July 3, 2022, at ProMedica Rehabilitation Center, Easton. She was the wife of the late Thomas C. Cesare, who passed away, April 2, 2019.
Born in Nanticoke, PA, June 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Zolna) Kashnicki.
Helen was the proud mother of five children and was blessed with ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Over the years, Helen proved herself to be an outstanding citizen who exemplified the finest virtues of American life. She has won the respect of her many family member, friends, neighbors and acquaintances who have come to know and thus respect and admire her.
A very important part of Helen’s life was her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Helen is survived by three daughters, Linda Cesare Traub and her husband Gary of Pen Argyl, Janice Cesare of Wind Gap, and Renee’ Weitz and her husband Don of Henderson, NV, two sons, Mark T. Cesare and his wife Terry of Whitehall and Thomas A. Cesare and his wife Alison of Pen Argyl, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 300 W. Babbitt Avenue, Pen Argyl. There will be a visitation, Friday beginning at 10 AM until time of services at the church. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Pen Argyl. The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge arrangements.

Dear Linda and all your family, I just learned that you lost your mother this summer and I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her as a woman of energy !
