My husband and I traveled from California to Maryland with my 18 month old daughter, Paulette, in Oct-Nov 1954. My brother, Henry, drove my mother, Theresa Mastroni and I to Sissy's bridal shower at her parents home. I remember how pretty and vivacious she was. Sissy and I have written cards and notes over the years to keep in touch.
