Not sure what to say?

Dear Ernie, I would like to share some memories I have of your beloved wife, Helen. She was my very first "best Friend" and I remember the many times we were together and her wonderful family, her Dad always full of laughter and her Mom, always a lady and her sister Lois the glamour girl. Helen and I were like sisters for a good part of our early years and she was always the same, generous and kind. When we entered High school, Helen came into her own, she changed from a skinny little girl...

My first memory of you, Helen, is of my brother meeting this beautiful teenage girl while he was working a summer job at Dixieline Lumber and you were working across the street at your father's upholstery shop. It was love at first sight. You became my sister-in-law and then I remember many years of family get-togethers for birthdays and holidays, and just being together. In essence, my overall memory of you is of a lovely, kind, generous person who led the life we all strive for. You...

Helen was a dear and generous lady, and will be missed terribly. I especially loved her beautiful smile. Ernie, our prayers are with you and your family.

A lovely tribute to a very special and cherished lady. My sincere condolences to the family. Susan is my very dear Big Bear friend and I have enjoyed hearing about her family memories.

I didn't have the honor of knowing Helen but I am lucky to count Susan among my dearest friends. In seeing how devoted Susan was to her mom, I know Helen must have been a very special person.

Ernie, Our prayers are with you and your family at this time. Helen was a wonderful, beautiful lady. My mom & dad [Vaness & Virginia Jeffries] had wonderful times and I know that they are 'catching up' in heaven.

Helen was a very special lady and a wonderful aunt. Many of my traditions are ones that Aunt Helen gave me but my fondest memory is my ninth birthday gift from her and Ernie. They picked up my grandmother on the way to our house for my party and Helen asked grandma to hold a shirt box in her lap in the backseat of the car for the ride to the party. When it was time to open my gifts, Helen handed me the shirt box and when I opened it, a California Rosy Boa slithered out at my feet. I was...

Ernie and family: What a special lady Helen was and we loved her dearly. I know she will be greatly missed but the wonderful memories of her life will live on forever in your and our hearts. Heaven is rejoicing at her entrance into that beautiful land. Love to you Ernie and the whole family. George and Mary Nelson. Oklahoma
