Pruttons and Howards were neighbors, we of our generation grew up together. Helen was my sister's best friend and her sister Mary Louise was mine. Helen was my model for beauty, intelligence, grace, kindliness and wonderful cool fun. I had a great visit with Helen a few years back when John died. Lovely, lovely lady.
