Corson, Helen Anderson Passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 10, 2008 at her Bloomington, Minnesota apartment in Friendship Village. She was 91 years old and had been ill with cancer. Helen lived a full, rich life and was known for her grace, beauty and infectious optimism, as well as her competitive spirit on the golf course and at the bridge table. Born Helen Mae Reichert on November 10, 1916 in Carrington, North Dakota. Her family moved to Mpls. where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. Helen married Dr. Clifford W. Anderson on September 26, 1942 at Fort Lewis, WA. She is survived by son, Thomas (Beverly) Anderson, Valrae (Jerry) Bowen and Cathy (Jim) Kindem; grandsons, Brett and Ryan (Arissa) Anderson and Spencer and Nathan (Stephanie) Bowen and great-grandson, Jude Bowen. Cliff passed away in 1975 after 33 years of marriage. Helen married a second time in 1986 to Guy Corson. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on April 19th at Friendship Village, 8100 Highwood Dr. in Bloomington, MN with all friends invited to join this celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, Helen's family asks that she be remembered by donations to Allina Hospice, 1055 Westgate Dr. Ste. 100, St. Paul, MN 55114.

Dear Cathy My thoughts with you on the loss of your precious mother. Helen was the sweetest ,most thoughtful lady and a wonderful friend to my late mother. I have wonderful memories of her and her ever present smile!

My deepest sympathy to Helen's family. I meet your mother when doing her taxes while she lived at Friendship Village. I was there today and was sad to hear that she had past away. May she rest in peace.

My sympathy to Helen's family..She was a lovely lady in every sense of the word..I had the privilege of playing golf with her at MGC back in the '80's.and admired how well she played and what good company she was.. a great role model...Ramona Pearson
